4th ME&A Regional Meeting, 2016, South Africa

For the 4th year and for the first time in South Africa, the EMEA Region organized its annual Middle East and Africa Regional Meeting, held in Cape Town during the 1st week of February. The event was fully attended by the presence of all our Partners, from 13 countries, totalling 70 participants, the highest number ever, and for the first time included the Flordis South Africa team.

The objective of this annual gathering is to share a common direction for the business in terms of sales, marketing and medical activities over two days, in which our time together is maximised. 

Great attention was given to our 2016 business targets and to the SFI Group global initiatives (eg Global Marketing, the Ginsana® 40 years campaign), in addition to Regional focus such as the new Ginsana Tonic campaign. 

The success of the event’s formula lies in the interactions at all levels between all delegates (people, staff, independent partners, companies), in particular when sharing best practices. This year was Lebanon’s turn with the successful launch of Calorease® in 2015, and Nigeria that gave an inspiring speech on how, after the 2015 MENA Regional Meeting, they became invigorated  and wanted to participate at this year’s event with its own success story. 

SFI believes that sharing ideas is the first step in “Growing Together as ONE” and during the event the passion and enthusiasm among all participants was clearly evident and tangible. It  emerged that key elements of SFI’s values such as enthusiasm, integrity, passion, cultural diversity and family orientation are commonly shared among all partners and are essential to forge a true longstanding partnership.

The event ended with a themed “Ginsana 40th anniversary” of Ginsana capsules and Tonic, where the opportunity was taken to share prizes and awards for the best sales performers of 2015.

Finally, cross-functional interaction is essential across the  SFI Group and the event gave the opportunity to both introduce and strengthen the relationships between our partners and the SFI Regional and Global functions for the first time. This generated an ideal forum to receive questions /comments and to discuss open issues and challenges our partners face every day when promoting and selling our products.
